Dr Nurain Mohd Noor is a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, serving in Hospital Putrajaya. She obtained her medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Malaya in 1994. She pursued her postgraduate studies in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, graduating with a Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2002. She is the Chairman of the Medical Research and Ethics Committee (MRECH), and more recently, head of the MOH’s Endocrinology Subspecialty Service. Dr Nurain has a strong passion in advancing the medical research within MOH, and her interest focuses on diabetes, and reproductive medicine. She also has a strong passion in raising health awareness among the general public, and conducts yearly Diabetes Awareness activities. Dr Nurain is the current President of Malaysian Endocrine and Metabolic Society (MEMS).
