Professor Dr Rohana is the current President of the Malaysian Obesity Society (MYOS). A key contributor to national healthcare guidelines, she co-developed Malaysia’s Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) for Gestational Diabetes (2019) , Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (2021) , and Obesity (2023) . Her expertise extends internationally as Malaysia’s representative in the Asia Oceania Association for the Study of Obesity (AOASO) Consensus on Obesity Care in South/Southeast Asia. She is also the national lead investigator for SOUL semaglutide study.
