Dr Wu Loo Ling is a senior consultant paediatrician and paediatric endocrinologist, currently practicing in Subang Jaya Medical Centre, Malaysia. 

Dr. Wu was a former Professor of Paediatrics and Endocrinology in UKM Medical Centre for more than 30 years.  She was instrumental in establishing the Paediatric Endocrine services both in UKM as well as in Malaysia. She initiated the formation of the young diabetic support group which has continued to run till today. Dr Wu has trained many specialists who are today paediatricians and paediatric endocrinologists in the country.

Dr Wu is a member of the Malaysian Endocrine and Metabolic Society,  the Malaysian Paediatric Endocrine and Diabetes Group.  She was a protem member in the setting up of the Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine  Society (APPES) in 1999 and served in the council in the initial years.  Dr Wu had chaired several expert committees in the development of Clinical Practice Guidelines in Malaysia.  

Dr. Wu’s  passion is in clinical work and teaching.  She has special interest in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus, growth disorders and disorders of sex development.
