Jorma Toppari, MD, PhD, is Professor of Physiology at University of Turku and Chief Physician of Pediatrics at Turku University Hospital, Turku, Finland. He is pediatric endocrinologist and one of principal investigators in the Finnish-Danish Boy Cohort study, DIPP study, TEDDY study, and FINT1DAS. He has served as an editor and editorial board member in several journals (incl. IJA, EJE, JPEM, JCEM, MCE, J Endocr, J Mol Endocr). He has been President of European Academy of Andrology (2010-2014), Finnish Endocrine Society (2010-2013), Finnish Physiological Society (2020-2023). His studies focus on type 1 diabetes, male reproduction, and endocrine disruption. He has published more than 600 articles. His web of science h-index is 99, Google scholar h-index 119.
