Doctor Alexander Tan is Consultant Endocrinologist at Sunway Medical Centre. Doctor Tan graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2001, became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCPUK) in 2005 and completed his subspecialty 
endocrinology training in 2010.  He was elected to be a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) of Edinburgh in 2016. He was instrumental in the formation of the Diabetes Care Unit at University of Malaya Medical Centre, a one-stop centre for all diabetes related clinical services.  He has presented research in the fields of diabetes mellitus and bone health at both local and international conferences. He has also been Principal Investigator for numerous clinical trials. Doctor Tan is actively involved in speaking at various local and national level conferences.
