Dr Janet Hong Yeow Hua is a Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist, and Head of Paediatric Paediatric Endocrine Unit in institut Endokrin Hospital Putrajaya. At national level, Dr Janet is the Head of Paediatric Endocrine Subspecialty services in Ministry of health Malaysia. She also chairs the Ministry of Health Pediatric Subspecialty Training Committee. Dr Janet is also the Head of Patient Registry Information System (PRIS) for Non communicable disease, Ministry of Health Malaysia: Pediatric Diabetes. 

Dr Janet has led and participated in drafting several clinical practice guidelines involving use of growth hormone, management of Type 1 diabetes and paediatric protocol for Malaysian hospitals. She is currently the chairperson of the review committee for the Malaysian CPG on the use of growth hormone.  
She has published more than 23 papers in leading journals including International Medical Journal, BMJ, Int Journal of Endocrinology, Journal of Paediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism, and Frontiers in Public Health.
