Dr. Jeanne Wong Sze Lyn is a consultant paediatric endocrinologist at Sunway Medical Centre Damansara. Graduating with distinction from the University of Malaya in 2004, she obtained her pediatric specialist qualifications (MRCPCH UK) in 2009 and completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology in Malaysia and Sydney, Australia in 2016. With expertise in neonatal and childhood diseases, general pediatrics, vaccinations, and endocrine conditions (age 0-18 years), her focus includes diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth issues, puberty, bone health, calcium disorders, pituitary, adrenal, hypoglycemia, obesity, and sex development. Dr. Jeanne is passionate about children's health education.
She has contributed to various medical protocols and guidelines and is a monthly columnist for the Sunday Star newspaper's health column titled "Hormones and Kids." Her research publications cover topics including diabetes and thyroid disorders.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jeanne is actively involved in professional organizations, as she served as the Paediatric Scientific Co-chairperson for the Annual Malaysian Endocrine & Metabolic Society (MEMS) Congress 2023 and holding roles in various committees related to pediatric endocrinology. She has been recognized with excellence awards for her service in pediatric departments at several hospitals.
