Dr Lim Kim Piow currently is the Consultant Physician & Endocrinologist at Sunway Medical Centre Velocity (SMCV). He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. He obtained his Membership of Royal College Physician
(MRCP) of United Kingdom and completed his postgraduate endocrinology fellowship in Malaysia. He was also conferred the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians FRCP (London). Dr Lim also holds a qualification as certified medical impairment assessor (CMIA). Dr Lim is also MRCP PACES examiner. In addition to his clinical practice, he is also one of the members of Endocrine Society, United State of America and Metabolic Endocrine Malaysian Society.
His main focuses of interest include general endocrinology particularly diabesity, young-onset type 2 diabetes and thyroid disorders. With such extensive experience, he is often invited as a speaker to contribute in conferences/ workshops/ health talk for health care staff and public/ media.
